Senate OKs portal for businesses

Senators voted 41-0 Friday to approve a bill that would establish a free website that could be used by businesses looking to set up shop in New Mexico.

The legislation, sponsored by Senate President Pro Tem Mary Kay Papen, D-Las Cruces, would call on the state to set up the portal by 2017.
