On her final day to act on most bills passed during this year’s 60-day legislative session, Gov. Susana Martinez used her veto pan to strike down more than two dozen bills.

In all, the second-term Republican governor ended up vetoing 15 bills and pocket-vetoing an addition 18 bills. A bill is pocket-vetoed if the governor does not act on it before the bill signing deadline.
