Governor Martinez Faces Questions with Alleged Governmental Conduct Act Violations

Two Democratic legislative leaders will ask New Mexico Attorney General Gary King to investigate whether a spokesman for Gov. Susana Martinez’s Public Education Department broke the law by using state resources for political purposes…“Using private email addresses to conduct public business can give the perception of trying to evade transparency, and that is a very dangerous perception because it erodes the public’s confidence in government,” Doland said.
