    A compromise struck Wednesday between New Mexico’s hospitals and a consumer-oriented think tank advanced legislation that would create a website where patients can compare the prices of medical procedures and the quality of services at health care facilities throughout the state.

    The Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously approved its substitute for Senate Bills 323 and 474 with a do-pass recommendation. The legislation now moves to the full Senate for a vote.
